Examples include the way they make learning engaging, are tuned in to student needs, continuously improve through professional learning, and bridge learning for parents. This year, the Title I Conference will provide additional strategies and resources teachers can use to enhance their “Game Changing” strategies.

The ability to grasp abstract scientific phenomena can be difficult for students, but it doesn't have to be! In this session, participants will experience how to engage with making science visible through the utilization of LEGO Education's BricQMotion Essential to teach Florida's science standards. Through the high interest and relevant topic of sports, teachers will learn how they can help support their students in learning science concepts with iconic LEGO® bricks!
This will be a hands-on session that includes building with our LEGO bricks. Content is embedded in the curriculum and teachers will learn about the extensive lending library at the district and how they can immediately incorporate the lessons learned in their classrooms.

Canva is an online graphic design platform that allows users to create dynamic and engaging presentations, daily agendas, graphic organizers, storyboards, comic strips, and so much more. Join us to learn about all the ways Canva can be used in the classroom as well as network with others to share innovative ideas on implementing this amazing program. Laptop required for this session.

This session highlights how inquiry-based lessons can help students integrate and apply knowledge across science topics with the utilization of LEGO Education's BricQMotion Prime to teach Florida's science standards.
