Examples include the way they make learning engaging, are tuned in to student needs, continuously improve through professional learning, and bridge learning for parents. This year, the Title I Conference will provide additional strategies and resources teachers can use to enhance their “Game Changing” strategies.
This training will review the science of reading and how it applies to the secondary ELA classroom. You will learn more about how to authentically integrate phonemic awareness, phonics, reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension on a regular basis.
Supporting our 6-12 ELL Students in Literacy With the number of ELL students growing on a consistent basis, it’s important to understand how to best support our ELLs in a traditional secondary ELA course. This training will help you identify strategies and supports to use with your entire class to ensure that every student is receiving quality instruction.
