Teachers demonstrate limitless game changing strategies each day. Examples include the way they make learning engaging, are tuned in to student needs, continuously improve through professional learning, and bridge learning for parents. Are you looking for new ways to engage your students? Do you find they need that extra time to explore a new concept or lesson? Let's add ART!
Art creation can increase a student's understanding of a topic, the retention of information, their problem-solving skills, it can activate their creative thinking, and they'll have fun while doing it!
Scared to dive in? Don't be-we're in this together! We will break down ways to infuse art creation into a lesson, we will break down techniques, and we will create our own examples!
Resources for participants will include anything from engaging project ideas, information on techniques and task analyses for art techniques, to arts integration lessons developed for various subject areas.
